Curiosity may have killed the cat; but are schools killing curiosity? Research shows that curiosity is one of the strongest indicators of academic success, but it is often underemphasized or even discouraged in the classroom.

During this 90-minute webinar, presenter Terra Tarango will share strategies to unleash students’ curiosity and to boost creativity and critical thinking skills. Attendees will learn how to cultivate the creative problem-solver and the critical thinker in each of their students. Practical strategies will be shared that will help flex students’ creative and critical thinking muscles.

Ms. Tarango will help attendees discover the importance of classroom climate when it comes to critical and creative thinking and the teacher's role in supporting a “thinking classroom.” She will also provide practical techniques for promoting critical and creative thinking and for creating a “thinking culture” within a classroom.
